Wounded Warriors Weekend
Wounded Warriors Weekend is a time for patriots, our partners, sponsors, honoured guests and friends to salute our Wounded Warriors, to thank them, to let them know they are not alone, that their courage and conviction make us profoundly grateful.
The Dandelion
In the fall of 2015, Wounded Warriors Weekend Foundation Inc. officially adopted the Dandelion and our surrounding mantra “Thriving Despite Adversity”. It is our goal that future generations will come to recognize the significance of the wearing of our “Dandelion” in support of our Wounded Warriors worldwide.
Blake Emmons, founder of the Wounded Warriors Weekend Foundation, dedicated his life to lifting up veterans, first responders, and their families. Through his vision and compassion, countless heroes found connection, healing, and hope. We are deeply grateful for all he created, and we are honoured to carry his work forward. We cannot wait to continue his legacy and ensure that his spirit of service lives on in every life we touch.
